Dever Springs is a legendary private fishery in Barton Stacey, Hampshire renowned for holding the British brown trout record! It features two crystal-clear spring fed lakes and half a mile stretch of the River Dever, a tributary of the iconic River Test.
A day beside these gin-clear waters, fishing rod in hand, is the perfect antidote to work and a great place to unwind, relax and connect with colleagues, friends and of course, nature.
The invitation is extended to you to bring a group of ten or more guests to learn the art of fly fishing on these prestigious waters with one of our qualified and friendly instructors . You never know, you may just hook and land the trout of a lifetime!
You will also have the opportunity to relax in the luxury fishing lodge which is beautifully furnished and thoughtfully equipped. It features a spacious seating area, bar, firepit, a large safari style dining room and veranda which overlooks the lakes, perfect for shooting the breeze about the day and enjoying the countryside.
Whether you're a seasoned angler or new to the sport, it will be a day to remember.
Example Itinerary
9.30am ~ Arrival
Gather at the fishing cabin for the welcome, fresh coffee and bacon rolls.
Meet your instructor for the day, tackle up and head to the lake!
1.00pm ~ Lunch
Meet back at the cabin for pre-lunch drinks. A sit down three-course lunch will be served.
After lunch its back to the lakes and river for more fishing!
5.00pm ~ Departure
Back to the Cabin for the weigh-in, celebratory drinks and departure.
Note that timings are flexible and can be arranged to suit your schedule.
Our Packages
After a thrilling morning on the lake and river, indulge in a delicious three-course lunch prepared by our talented in-house caterers. Choose from a menu featuring the finest local produce, including smoked trout, watercress soup and water buffalo mozzarella, complete with a glass of English Black Chalk sparkling, a locally brewed beer or a non-alcoholic alternative. For a more relaxed experience, opt for The Classic Cast package and head to one of our favourite village pubs, The Plough Inn, Longparish, for a hearty lunch. With exclusive access to Dever Springs Fishing Lodge for teas, coffees and WCs.

Cost/head includes: fishing (keep 1 plus C&R), one instructor for each five guests, licences, tackle hire, breakfast, lunch, tea and light refreshments.
The Classic Cast
Cost/head includes: fishing (keep 1 plus C&R), one instructor with four sets of tackle, use of the lodge with tea and coffee facilities.
